Now that the weather has finally hit thaw and my new meds are working, it’s time for me to rejoin civilian life and get moving with other projects and goals. So for the month of May I’m going to attempt to gently acquire some new, productive habits while shedding some unproductive ones. I’m not going to beat myself up, just see what I can do by committing to simple changes during each day and being accountable on this blog with daily check-ins. Some of the changes I’m contemplating:
- Watching less TV and using the time to read, write or listen to some writing courses I have.
- Making healthy meals at home.
- Exercising more. Triathlon season is nearly upon me!
I may tweak this list as I go along, but this is a good start. If you’re reading this and have made some successful habit changes, feel free to post what worked or what didn’t. Let’s see what I end up with by the end of the month.
